PAL KEYS Hiatus

Hello.
PAL KEYS will be taking a rest in 2022 once Series 3 concludes.
I like to plan, no matter how far or how unrealistic an event or topic may seem at present, and as I was weighing up 2022 these last few months, I’ve come to realise that even fortnightly episodes of the podcast won’t be realistic for me to maintain consistently.
Another part is, I’m getting married next April, and the tasks are already starting to pile up there.
Factor in the book's release soon, the day job, and other things, unfortunately the schedule of the podcast will suffer, and I like to be consistent with PAL KEYS.
But there is another aspect that’s been dawning on me recently.
Whenever I decide that something is not as fun as it used to be, or a part of it is becoming a chore, I cut ties long before I start to dread doing it.
While this hasn’t happened with PAL KEYS as I love doing the show, I am finding it challenging to record, edit and publish an episode every fortnight, and I reckon if I go past November, I’ll see this as a chore, and it’s the last thing I want for it.
But don’t fret and cause a discourse; it will come back for Series 4 in 2023, but I need a break from it for now, just so I can make sure that the more pressing tasks are done to the best they can be.
Then again, I may push out some impromptu special episodes because I feel like it. I’d love to do a live show of it somehow still, whether if that’s just on Twitch or even, dare I say, an event, but who knows.
All going well, November will see the final episode of PAL KEYS for now.
It’ll be a good time to start the hiatus with a special final episode.
